Actor, Tenor, Charles Gavoian attended the University of Southern California (USC) Thornton School of Music Opera Program. During this time, he became a finalist at both the San Francisco and San Diego Opera competitions. Charles studied acting at The Academy of Dramatic Arts. He also studied with Nina Foch, Bill Trailer and Peggy Feury at the Loft Studios, Groundlings, Susan Strasberg, Brian Reise, and the Creative Actors Workshop. Charles debuted his film career in Night of the Warriors, co-staring with Lorenzo Lamas. This led to roles in the CBS series, Without a Trace, FOX Television series, House, and E! Entertainment’s Mysteries and Scandals, and more. He has appeared in several national television commercials as well as voiceovers.

For the last two decades, Charles has taken his one-man show on a national tour. Written and produced by him, The Mario Lanza Story is an award-winning musical that has received national acclaim and Critics Choice awards from a multitude of publications such as the L.A. Times, Backstage West, Variety, Drama-Logue, Philadelphia Enquirer, and more.
